Catalog section

A passenger car differs from a freight car not only in its bogie with central swing-hanger suspension but also in its own power supply system: an underfloor generator, a gearbox-cardan drive from the wheelset axle and a storage battery. These assemblies call for dedicated repair stations and test benches that a typical freight depot does not have. INVIN GROUP covers this part of the process chain, supplying equipment for the bogie shop, the drive repair area and the electrical shop.

The category includes a bogie disassembly and assembly stand, a run-in bench for gearbox-cardan drives, a hydraulic damper test bench and a repair and test station for underfloor generators. The equipment is sized for the depot repair and overhaul program of passenger cars, including air-conditioned cars with higher-output generators.

Before manufacturing we confirm the car series and the drive types operated at the customer's depot and select the mounting dimensions, tooling and test ranges accordingly. Benches are delivered with a set of interchangeable fixtures so that one station serves several types of assemblies with a changeover of a few minutes.
