Equipment

Description

The bench is designed for checking the drives of plug-sliding and sliding doors of multiple unit rolling stock after repair and at incoming inspection. It verifies opening and closing times, pinch force on obstacle detection and the operation of limit switches and interlocks, and runs endurance tests for a specified number of cycles.

The core of the bench is a frame with a width-adjustable door aperture simulator on which the drive and a standard door leaf, or a load simulator of equal weight, are mounted. Electric drives are powered from an adjustable DC source, pneumatic drives from an air preparation unit with a pressure regulator; pressure and voltage are set from the operator panel. Leaf position sensors and a load-cell stop record travel, time and force; the controller compares the results with the tolerances of the selected series and generates a test report.

The bench is supplied with a set of brackets for the drives of the train series specified by the customer and a test program containing their tolerances. On request it is supplemented with a door control system simulator communicating over the train bus, a climatic mode for testing at low temperature, a work area guard with an interlock and export of reports to the repair facility's database.

Features

Design features

  • Electric and pneumatic drives — An adjustable DC source and an air preparation unit cover drives from different generations of trains.
  • Pinch force measurement — A load-cell stop records the force on obstacle detection at several points of the leaf travel.
  • Endurance testing — The automatic mode runs the specified number of cycles while logging deviations in time and force.
  • Test report — The controller compares the results with the tolerances of the series and prints a report for each drive.
  • Quick changeover — The aperture width and mounting brackets are reset for another series without machining or fitting work.
