Horizontal air receiver 2000 L

The 2000 L horizontal receiver is designed for the compressor rooms of depots and repair works where the room height does not allow a vertical vessel, and for cases where the receiver must serve as the base of the compressor unit. The vessel serves stations with two or three compressors and feeds a shop main line with dozens of draw-off points.

Air enters through a nozzle at one end of the shell and leaves at the opposite end, passing along the entire length of the vessel; during this time the flow velocity drops and moisture and oil settle along the bottom of the shell. The supports have a slight slope towards the drain boss, so condensate runs to the discharge point by gravity.

The 1000 mm diameter shell with elliptical heads is mounted on two saddle supports with anchor holes. The end head carries a DN 400 manhole for internal inspection; the shell carries flanged inlet and outlet nozzles and bosses for fittings and instruments. On request a platform frame with vibration mounts is fitted on top of the vessel to carry a screw compressor, dryer and line filters — so the compressor room occupies a single base.

The scope of supply includes a safety valve, pressure gauge, shut-off fittings and a drain valve; on request — an automatic condensate drain, a second outlet nozzle for separate main lines and an internal anti-corrosion coating.
