Air receivers
Welded vessels for storing compressed air and smoothing pressure pulsations in depot air networks: from a compact receiver at a repair station to the central storage vessel of a compressor station.
Catalog section
Air receivers are pressure vessels that store compressed air, smooth the pulsations of piston compressors and separate condensate before air is delivered to consumers. In depots and repair shops those consumers include brake equipment test benches, pneumatic tools, sandblasting booths, presses and blow-off systems. A correctly sized receiver reduces the number of compressor starts and holds the network pressure during peak demand.
The category covers vertical and horizontal receivers from 500 to 4000 L rated for working pressures of 1.0 and 1.6 MPa. Every vessel is delivered with a set of fittings — a safety valve, pressure gauge, shut-off and drain valves — and is ready to be connected to the compressor and the main line.
INVIN GROUP selects the volume and number of receivers from a calculation of the customer's air network, taking into account the output of the compressor station, the number of repair stations and the duty cycle of the brake test benches for the railcar and locomotive series being serviced. The position of the nozzles, the type of supports, the set of fittings and the outdoor installation version are adapted to the customer's specification.
