Equipment

Description

The stationary lifting system is designed to lift tram cars, including low-floor articulated ones, for bogie roll-out, wheelset replacement and repair of underfloor equipment. The car is lifted as a whole at the standard lifting points of every section, so the articulation joints are not skewed and the track between the lifting units remains clear for rolling the bogies out.

The system consists of electromechanical lifting units recessed into the floor along the track according to the lifting-point layout of the specific car series. When lowered, the lifting pads sit flush with the floor and do not obstruct the car entering the station; before lifting they extend under the body and bear against the support pads of the frame. Each unit has a self-locking screw pair and a position sensor; the controller keeps all units in one plane and stops the system if the deviation exceeds the tolerance.

On the customer's request the system is supplemented with lifting rail sections that raise the car together with its bogies — a convenient mode for underfloor work without rolling the bogies out. Also available are 1435 and 1000 mm gauge versions, a portable pendant with load indication for every unit, width-adjustable lifting pads for depots with a mixed fleet, and safety guards with a start interlock.

Features

Design features

  • All sections at once — The units are placed according to the car manufacturer's lifting-point layout; the articulated body is lifted without bending loads on the articulation joints.
  • Clear track — The units are recessed into the floor and do not occupy the space between the tracks; bogies roll straight out from under the raised car.
  • Self-locking screw drive — The load is held at any height without brakes or stops, including during a power failure.
  • Synchronization control — Position sensors on every unit; if the mismatch exceeds 3 mm the system stops and switches to levelling mode.
  • Lifting with bogies — Optional lifting rail sections raise the car on its wheels — for work under the body without rolling the bogies out.
  • For a mixed fleet — Adjustable lifting pads and programmable unit groups allow cars of different series to be serviced at one station.
