Two-tank ultrasonic line with rinsing and drying
Line consisting of an ultrasonic cleaning tank, a rinse tank and a drying chamber with automatic transfer of the basket between stations according to a set program.
We will send photos and drawings of the equipment on request via the contacts page.
Equipment
Description
The line is intended for sections with a high throughput of similar parts, where cleaning must end with a surface ready for assembly or preservation, free of cleaning solution residue: air brake equipment, fuel injection equipment, electrical apparatus and compressor parts, as well as rolling bearings after dismounting. The unit performs the complete cycle — ultrasonic cleaning, rinsing and drying — without operator involvement between loading and unloading the basket.
The basket with parts is placed at the receiving station, after which the gantry manipulator moves it according to the program: in the first tank the parts undergo ultrasonic cleaning in heated solution, in the second — ultrasonic rinsing in clean water that removes solution residue and suspended particles, then the basket moves to the drying chamber, where it is blown with hot air. The dwell time at each station and the temperature of the solution, water and air are set in the recipe; the controller stores a set of recipes for different groups of parts.
The tanks and the drying chamber housing are made of stainless steel and mounted on a common frame. Each tank has its own generator, thermostatically controlled heating, circulation filter and oil skimmer. The gantry manipulator travels on guides above the tanks, and the basket is lifted by an electric drive with variable frequency control. The drying chamber is fitted with an air heater, a recirculation fan and an exhaust connection. The control cabinet with a touch panel is located at the loading area.
The line is configured to the section layout: in-line or L-shaped, with two loading stations for continuous operation, with an additional passivation or preservation tank. On request an enclosed version with a common extraction enclosure and a cleaning concentrate dosing system are supplied.
Features
Design features
- Complete cycle without an operator — Cleaning, rinsing and drying are performed automatically; the operator only places the basket and removes the finished parts.
- Recipes for groups of parts — The controller stores time, temperature and power for each station in every recipe; changing the part range means selecting a recipe on the panel.
- Gantry manipulator — Transfers the basket between stations on guides with smooth acceleration and braking, without swinging or splashing.
- Ultrasonic rinsing — The second tank with transducers removes solution residue and fine suspended particles, so the parts need no wiping.
- Hot-air drying — The air heater and air recirculation dry parts with blind holes in a single pass; the temperature is adjustable.
- Layout to suit the shop — In-line or angled arrangement of stations, a second loading station and additional tanks to the customer's specification.
