500 l ultrasonic washer with lifting basket

The 500 l washer is designed for medium-sized assemblies that are awkward to handle manually and too heavy to load into a tank without mechanization: axle box housings and axle box bearings, brake cylinders, diesel engine cylinder heads and pistons, water and oil pump housings, compressor parts. The unit is used in diesel engine, wheel and roller bearing, and air brake shops before flaw detection and repair.

The transducers operate at 28 kHz — coarser cavitation effectively removes carbon, varnish deposits and aged grease from cast iron and steel surfaces. The solution circulates continuously through a particle filter, and floating oil is drawn off into the skimmer through an overflow weir, so the tank stays clean throughout the shift. The basket is lowered into the solution and raised by an electric drive; in the upper position it is held above the tank to let the solution drain off.

The tank is welded from stainless steel and mounted in a clad frame of structural tubing. The transducers are fixed to the bottom and side walls, and the generator and control cabinet are housed in a separate compartment. The circulation pump, filter and oil skimmer are mounted on the side and accessible for servicing without draining the tank. The tank lid is a two-leaf design on gas struts.

Depending on the task, the washer is supplied with basket oscillation during the cycle, a second 40 kHz frequency, a local extraction hood and a frame for pit installation. For assemblies with internal cavities, an adapter for feeding solution inside the part is provided.
