Equipment for locomotive service points
We outfit locomotive service points for running maintenance and turnaround inspections: from inspection pit equipment to sanding stations, brake device test benches and platforms for roof work.
Catalog section
A locomotive service point is a station where, during a short stop, the running gear, brake system, roof and electrical equipment must be inspected, sand replenished and minor faults corrected. Its equipment has to open safe access to every zone of the locomotive without extending the servicing cycle. The category includes inspection pit outfitting sets, sanding stations, brake equipment test benches and mobile platforms for roof work.
INVIN GROUP engineers service point equipment around the locomotive series and the layout of the site: pit length and profile, the number of sections serviced simultaneously, the position of sanding stations and the presence of overhead catenary above the tracks. Equipment is delivered assembled, with mounting hardware, control cabinets and operating documentation; at the customer's site we provide supervised installation, commissioning and staff training.
