Metro train repair equipment

We design and build process stations for metro depots around the clearance, weight and design of a specific car series — from wheelset drop-out to current collector testing and electrical equipment cleaning.

Metro depots run on a tight schedule: cars must be back on the line for the morning peak, while repair stations are packed closely together and limited in height. Equipment for such depots has to fit existing pits and bays, allow fast replacement of assemblies and operate safely next to the third rail and live tracks. This section covers wheelset and bogie drop tables, tilters, current collector test benches and cleaning booths for electrical equipment.

Every INVIN GROUP product is adapted to the customer's rolling stock series: bogie wheelbase and weight, wheel diameter, current collector type and the layout of underfloor equipment. The design office ties the equipment into the depot layout, coordinates the documentation with the operating department and supplies the equipment with supervised installation and staff training. Stations can be combined into a single process line with our electric lifting jacks and static frequency converters.
